EYEBEAM Computational Fashion Master Class

 
In June 2015, Eyebeam and Shapeways brought together fifteen fashion designers, engineers, and media artists from across North America and Asia to build skills and collaboratively design at the intersection of fashion and technology.

On September 12, 2014, Eyebeam and Shapeways presented a collection of 3D-printed fashion garments produced during the Computational Fashion Master Class (July 2014), where ten fashion designers, engineers, and media artists from across North America and Asia came to NYC to learn tech skills and collaboratively design work at the intersection of fashion and emerging technology.

A three week intensive design collaboration with selected fashion designers and creative programmers to begin to uncover new languages for describing and creating garments.

TailorAid 3D Garment Fit Software

 

 

TailorAid is a proposal for a personal sizing database. Paired with opensource patterning networks and lean, on demand clothing production in localized production hubs, such a system would incentivize the adoption of circular product life cycles and manufacturing supply chain localization.


Tailoraid received a production grant from Parsons and was showcased at the VF Corporation Futuretech_ conference in 2012.
